We decided to do the Spring Tour at Lier having seen many videos and photos of how incredible the showground was! The first week we were hit with horrible weather, snow and -8 temperatures but incredibly they still managed to run the competitions. My horses were fresh and jumped some good double clears despite the conditions! Week 2 brought us some sunshine and better conditions and with that I decided to step them up a level with my top horse Que Sera III qualifying for the Grand Prix on the first day in the big class and then jumping two world ranking classes after that for a green mistake in each but I couldn’t have asked for anymore. Having had a good few weeks away jumping made the long drive home not seem so far! All now ready to take on the season back in the UK
